What a beautiful campground. Is first come first serve which can be tricky to get a spot as it's very popular with the locals. Do need extra power cord though as power outlets are far from the site. Free firewood and toilets/showers in the main building. There are pit toilets but they are very smelly! Can't say enough about the main managers - very great and friendly people!! Looking forward to staying here again!!
Do not come here on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday as the local attendants water the park for several hours each day. Most sites do not have 30 amp, sewer, or water hookup.
This was supposed to be a quick stop and leave the next morning. After a long walk along the river and through the campground we are on our way. What a beautiful campground, we will definitely stay here again. $25 gets you free firewood, electricity and a beautiful well treed spot. Site 35 and 36 are the first spots that back the river but are farthest from tbe showers. From 35/36 on there are shale to dozen large graveled sites with beautiful views of the river. The campground is well maintained and clean. Can not comment on the shower and bathroom as we did not need them.
Lovely site. Was our first time camping in a trailer tent and was a great place to start. Shops nearby for things we'd forgotten. Lovely play parks well kept grounds. Group site toilets were a little stinkie but I guess we were in the great outdoors. Have recommended to friends since our visit :)
Really awesome place. Lots of space. Near the river, free fire wood. Not expensive. Close to town for anything you may have forgotten.
