Had the tostadas with pulled pork. Absolutely delicious! Truly a delightful local restaurant.
First of all, I think for a small town (Taber) the prices are high. If it was absolutely amazing food, the prices could be justified. I didn't think the food was amazing however. Second of all, the restaurant has 2 main cuisines. I think this is their second mistake. It is better to do one thing well, then two things not so well. I think Mexican & Italian is an odd mix anyway. We both had a Mexican dish, but it definitely was not the best Mexican food I have ever had. I will most likely never eat here again. The chef/owner was very personable, helpful, & knowledgeable, which is the only reason why we stayed. We were going to leave after looking at the menu options and prices, but he came over and spoke with us. The restaurant was very clean, as well as the bathrooms and charming too, which we appreciated very much.
Best restaurant food I've had for a long, long time. Great little place downtown. We're definitely coming back.
Very good food and lots of variety to choose from. It is labeled as Italian, which is true, they have a ton of pasta options, but they also have Mexican cuisine (which I had and found delicious) and other fair typical of a diner (like sandwiches and meatloaf).
Easily the best food in town. If you want to get away from fast food and enjoy some real food, made to order. This is the place.
